THE BENEFITS OF YOGATA…

which I will address as you scroll down this page.
Before you scroll, however, let me offer a short explanation. Yogata means Yoga Kata. A kata is a martial arts form. Yogata is a different way of doing Yoga, it utilizes the extreme efficiency and functionality of the martial arts to speed up the path of Yoga.
Further, Yogata is the result of the application of the science of Matrixing. Matrixing is the analysis and handling of force and direction (flow). It is through Matrixing that I have been able to realize a much more efficient method of joining Yoga and Martial Arts, to the benefit of both.
Now scroll down.

    • Yogata augments the martial arts
    • Yogata joins the two disciplines of Yoga and the Martial Arts to create a faster, more efficient path towards enlightenment.

I will explain each of the above items in order.

Yogata may be used to rehabilitate injury.
Not to cure, but once injury or illness has stabilized, one can utilize Yogata to return the body to its original functionality… and beyond.
You will not regrow arms and legs (at least, not yet, but you will enjoy a drastic return to excellent health.
I noticed that a shoulder separation injury has lost its pain, and the shoulder has returned to almost complete functionality.
I also noticed a de-toxing effect. Beware that you do not overdue in the beginning, as you may experience this, and it is not comfortable.

Yogata may be used to gain strength and flexibility.
Body calisthenics is the most efficient and natural way to increase your strength.
Flexibility is achieved not by forcing the body through pain, but by edging up to the pain, relaxing, and letting the body become more able. This is flexibility by the carrot and not the whip, and it is much better for the individual.

Yogata may be used to elongate life.
A body used is a body made strong. All the trigger points will be activated, which will make the inner organs extremely hardy and healthy.
There are three core elements which give health and long life.

The correct food.
The correct exercise.
The correct outlook.

Yogata may be used at the beginning of any martial arts class.
Yogata is far superior to the bend and bounce exercises which can actually stress the body and even cause injury. One must use awareness to wake up the body, not cold water and hammers.

Yogata may be done upon awakening in the morning.
Yogata, done in a manner similar to a karate kata, or form, is far superior for exercise upon rising in the morning. It is more efficient in the doing, and enables one to better chart their morning, and to enhance their lives with proper exercise.

Yogata is a short form, similar to a martial arts form.
Instead of spending inordinate amounts of time tweaking away at one body part, the whole body is addressed in simple yet logical fashion. This allows the student to control his or her progession in superior fashion.

Yogata is not aimed towards a piece of the body,
but towards the whole body.
Too many methods of exercise direct their attention towards a body part, actually separating the body, instead of joining it into one unit. This concept, of using the whole body as one unit, is called CBM, or Coordinated Body Motion.)
The concept of CBM is used to fashion the entire Yogata sequence and enhance the whole body as one unit.

Yogata strengthens the whole body as a unit;
it does not separate the body.
Too many people spend unusual amounts of time exploring one concept, say a twist, or a bend, and thus isolate that body part, separate it from the whole body, and even cause students a certain degree of unnecessary suffering. True Yoga should be done easily, sliding awareness through the whole body, and not stopping in a body part.

Yogata increases speed of learning for all Yoga.
Done by sliding the awareness through the body, instead of bashing it on a single body part with no view to the whole, Yogata will increase speed of learning, often drastically.

Yogata augments classical Yoga.
Do Yogata first, then concentrate your efforts on finer and finer elements of Yoga. This is learning the ABCs before you say the words, and saying the words before you string the sentences. This is a much more natural and efficient order of learning.

Yogata augments the martial arts.
Oh, Lord, let me count the ways. More strength, more flexibility, less injury, more awareness, more understanding of how the body works and why…as stated previously, this is an exercise far, far beyond the bounce and bend exercises which can even harm the body.

Yogata joins the two disciplines of Yoga and the Martial Arts
to create a faster, more efficient path towards enlightenment.
If you study only one discipline, you have only part of the picture.
In truth, there are four methods for seeking enlightenment:
martial
yogic
scriptural
ascetic
If a person studies only one discipline, then his wholeness, his speed of learning, is only one quarter.
If a person studies two disciplines, it is one half.
If a person studies three disciplines 75%.
With Yogata, for the first time in history, the joining of the disciplines has begun.

Avail yourself, and Enjoy.
