Evolve a Thousand Years in One hour

Newsletter 824

The Martial Arts, and Evolution…

Speaking of matrixing, the martial arts, and evolution…
I came across an interesting thought
the other day
I was reading some old yogic scrolls,
and the claim was made
that an hour of yoga
caused a thousand years of evolution
in the person doing the yoga.

Interesting claim.

The most important Martial Arts book ever written.
The most important Martial Arts book ever written.

And,
it’s not right,
though it does act like it is right.

After all,
when you evolve,
you are not growing,
you are reclaiming yourself.
So it’s true,
but…not really.
Which brings us to Matrixing.

When you study a martial art
that has been matrixed,
the art is logical,
and therefore the you accept it.
you like things to make sense,
to be logical.

when you matrix a martial art
you accept this logical method
of looking at and handling the world
at a much faster rate.

The difference between studying a martial art,
and matrixing it
(making it logical through your own efforts)
is the difference between driving a car
and building a car.
The fellow who builds the car
will understand that car far better
than the fellow who simply drives it.

Mind you,
in the end,
you get to where you are going.
But the fellow who makes his own vehicle
will,
in the end,
get there faster.

Now,
that said,
there are several things that will happen,
as you matrix,
that will occur.
I don’t think I have ever laid out these results,
described this path,
so here goes…

First,
you will tend to look at the world in a logical manner.
You will become better at solving problems.
You will become a better worker and boss.
You will become an artist.

Everybody sort of knows this,
most martial artists experience this,
so let me take you where most people don’t know.

Second,
you must put aside emotion.
This is an interesting thing.
People will put emotion on you,
and you will feel the need to respond with emotion.
But the Neutronic definition of emotion:

emotion is motion inside the head.

Thus,
you must still the emotion,
stop the motion inside your head,
and not respond with emotion,

BTW,
there is good emotion,
love, happiness, etc.
And there is bad emotion,
hate, fear, sadness, etc.

So the specific emotion you must not respond to
is the bad emotion.
Good emotion okay.
Bad emotion you must uncreate from even beginning.

Think about it,
emotion is merely the automatic response
of one who is overwhelmed.
You must not become overwhelmed,
you must view the world in logical terms,
so that nothing can surprise you,
nothing can overwhelm you.

Third,
you must defeat the distraction of memories.
You must not respond because any conditioning
you may have received.
This includes any familial conditioning,
any educational conditioning,
any conditioning of any kind.
Instead,
you must create yourself in the moment.

For instance,
your father laughed at certain types of jokes before you,
do you laugh at the same kind of jokes?
Don’t you realize that he laughed at jokes in his moment?
And that you have an entirely different moment?
That will change the type of jokes you might laugh at.

For instance,
school might train you to think like a physicist,
and you will analyze the world as a physicist,
when you should analyze it as a unique being,
not trapped by an education.

(Mind, I am not saying you can’t be a physicist
and be in the moment, too)

For instance,
do you view the world through a religious viewpoint?
It would be much better
to study all religions,
to understand all religions,
than to choose one religion over all others.

Don’t become the only thing in the universe
willing to kill over a belief system.

This is simple after you have evolved a few hours…

Fourth,
you must separate yourself from other people,
without losing your humanity.
Simply,
you must be immune to the attitudes
of your fellow man,
but you must love your fellow man
all the same.
This one is incredibly tough.
No matter how far you evolve,
there will always be some idiot
telling you what to do,
thinking he is smarter than you,
and so on.
Can you accept and even use this fellow?
And put aside your certainty
that he is an idiot?
Interesting problem, eh?

Fifth,
and this one is a toughie,
don’t view the world as a fantasy.
This is probably the toughest,
for you become enlightened through the things
I have previously mentioned,
then you might think that,
because you are so smart,
the world should be as you say.

For instance,
you make a battery powered car,
to save the world from pollutants,
and don’t ever consider
that someday the battery will have to be disposed of,
and that the battery might be worse
than all the oil pollutants of a gas car.

Oddly,
this is one of the most dangerous things
you will ever to confront
on your way to self-sufficiency
as a spiritual being…
on your way to your ultimate evolution…
on the way to the ultimate truth of yourself.

Though people haven’t discovered
the earlier truths,
they don’t know how to look at the world logically,
or control their emotion,
or control their responses to people,
they will still try to rule the world through their fantasy.

Have you ever met a fellow without an opinion?
And yet I am asking you to be one.
Toughest problem you will ever encounter.

Anyway,
this is the truth of matrixing
and where it leads to.

First,
you learn to look at the world logically
through the matrixing method.
You put aside the distraction of memories,
then you put aside emotion,
other people’s thoughts,
and even fantasy.

Then you find the truth of yourself,
and you start manipulating the universe
the way it should be manipulated.

The truly odd thing is that this path
often starts with a simple motivation:
the desire to defend yourself.
The wish to become physically safe
through simple exercises and drills.

Where this path leads,
though,
is sublime.

Now,
the one caution:
People think they can do this through any martial art.
Yet nobody has ever succeeded.

Indeed,
the people who think they have
are merely manifesting their fantasy of the world.
They are still mired in the muck,
and don’t understand that they have no logic.
They have only the fantasy of logic.
They have only an opinion and no facts.

So it has to be a matrixed martial art.
It can’t be a Chinese fire drill of a martial art,
it has to be a logical (matrixed) martial art.
Then it will work,
and then you can experience something like…
a thousand years of evolution
through a simple hour of exercise.

Okay,
Matrix Karate starts the matrixing process.
Study the courses as you need to,
until logic outweighs fantasy in your mind.
Then you will be off and running.

But whatever you do…
don’t settle for an opinion.

Think and It Shall Happen…Through the Martial Arts!

The Power of Mind over Matter…

May the force be with you. Did the Egyptians levitate those pyramidal building blocks with their minds? I wanna have the power of mind over matter!

if you don't have a mind it doesn't matterHey, who doesn’t. The problem is, you don’t see anybody else who has it, either. Even the bible, translated through seventy different special interest groups, is not entirely believable when it comes to matters of the mind over matter.

That said, the first stage in learning how to have powers of mind over matter is to learn that the body is a machine. This can be done through many different methods, but the best one I have found is good old martial arts. You have to translate a lot of stuff into physics, and there is a lot of bushwah out there, but if you stick to the empirical method you can actually isolate True Martial Arts.

The second stage is learning how to use the mind. The first stage, in teaching you that the body is a machine, opens up the mind, but most people misunderstand what has happened. They think they have to build their bodies more, when, at a certain point, they have to use their bodies less, and energy less, and let their mental powers transcend any desire for physicality.

The third stage, interesting enough, deals with an analysis of flow, such as in Aikido, or Pa Kua, or others of the soft arts. Once flow is mastered, the third stage starts to manifest, and this is a stage of imagination. Can you make people back away from you just by looking at them, can you fall somebody down with your intent, as opposed to actually touching them.

The fourth stage is going to be available after you have achieved the abilities I’ve just described. This is going to be where you make stones levitate. Can you take imagination and make the things of the world do what you want them to do?

Can you imagine a stone lifting, and it lifts solely through your imagination? This is not muscle, and is, in fact, in a direction opposite to muscle. Though, remember, it is necessary on the first stage.

The real key is in understanding, not in mysticism, for mysticism is the fact of words and concepts not really being understood and therefore not really usable. The real key is in running imagination through your body on the lower levels, and then being able to manifest that imagination outside your body. Of course, at this point, you should probably find a workable method for isolating the exact physics of The True Martial Arts.

But to start from scratch, go to MonsterMartialArts.com and find a course on good Kung Fu.

The Key to how to Matrix Martial Arts

Why It is Difficult to Understand Matrixing

I have people asking me, every once in a while, for an example of Matrixing in the Martial Arts. This is something I don’t want to give, and there is an exact reason for me refusing. Let me explain this reason.

The mind is a bunch of memory. That’s all it is. An animal mind has very short span. A goldfish forgets within three seconds. That’s it. Simply, the goldfish is a being that lives within three seconds, and then moves on.

matrix martial arts
Are you ready for Matrixing?

Man is a rather longer memoried beast. It would be nice to go into this more, but this is not the time and place. So let it suffice to say that you can remember virtually anything. This lifetime alone, you can recall the most minute memories.

Now, mental abilities are something else, and they have absolutely nothing to do with the mind. Mental abilities, such as the ability to create problems, intuition, telepathy and telekinesis and all that sort of thing, that are not born of memory…they are what the awareness of the individual can do.

Separate them: mind is memory, and mental ability has nothing to do with the mind. Mental ability is what you, the human being, can do in your wildest dreams.

When you do the martial arts you memorize patterns. You memorize techniques. You memorize muscle motion.

You put all this into your mind.

But what can you do?

Well, you can do whatever is in your mind, but that has nothing to do with what you, the human being, can do in your wildest dreams.

You see, all this stuff you memorize into your mind is nothing more than…circuits. Just like an electrical circuit, bound by nodes and boards and such…everything is on a set path.

But you can only trap a human being so long. Eventually, be it a few seconds or a million years, the human being is going to say, ‘wait a minute! I recognize this place! I see what I’ve been doing! I see this memory!’

At that second the circuit is blown, the pattern disappears, and you become free.

Now freedom is relative, and that’s an absolute, and this is another one of those things I should skirt during the course of this essay.

So the point is this, when you blow a circuit you enter into mushin no shin. Mind of no mind. Or…a place where there are no memories telling you what to do.

Here’s a couple of things that go along with that phenomenon.

Mushin no shin can be achieved through the necessity of the moment…because of the need for survival. A fellow on the battlefield may experience it. Time slows down, he develops other perceptions rather instantly.

I remember reading of one fellow who survived Viet Nam because he could ‘smell’ Viet Namese. We could argue whether he actually detected by odor, or whether the human being sensed and attributed this ability to his nose, but the fact remains, he survived through an ability ‘grown’ for the moment.

Mushin no shin might last for a brief instant…then the memories come flooding back in. Still, that experience, that ‘aha’ moment, will open up a human being and let him or her know that there is a lot more to him, and life, than is ever written in a book, any book, in western society…or eastern.

Indeed, it is near impossible to describe this moment except in general and almost cartoonish terms.

The world glows. You understand God. You can see forever. These are descriptions of something that cannot be described.

And there are other phenomena connected with mushin no shin, or as I have segued into…enlightenment.

The difference between mushin no shin and enlightenment may be merely one of degree, or perhaps depth of understanding. Or perhaps the type and size of circuits blown.

But let’s return to the martial arts and why I don’t give examples of matrixing.

The martial arts are a series of memories. They are patterns. They are circuits implanted in the mind through hard work. And here is the bugaboo.

If the martial art is sufficiently illogical, there will be no mushin no shin, except by the severest accident. There will be no enlightenment.

One example of this is boxing. There are no examples that I can think of where a boxer suddenly threw off his gloves and said, ‘I understand that the essential nature of the universe is a golden vibe which we call God.’

There are a few boxers who have been pounded into believing in God, but this is not enlightenment, this is worship by the beaten.

Another example would be kenpo.

To be plain, I love Kenpo, I have loved it since I encountered in 1967, but I was not able to matrix it for a variety of reasons.

It doesn’t create a connection with the earth through serious stance work. It is a put together, a real conglomeration, of everything Ed Parker encountered and thought about: it is the memories, jumbled and reconstructed in a desperate effort to make sense, of one man. It is five evolutions of thought as one man went through life without ever encountering mushin no shin, or an ‘aha’ moment.

Nothing against kenpo, it just best exemplifies illogic in the martial arts.

And what it specifically exemplifies is the basic training method, which is memorization, or implantation of training sequences in the mind.

When I developed matrixing it seemed like an accident, but it was really my search for logic in a universe that is rather slipshod and haphazard and put together by whim and shamble.

Why me, why the martial arts, why the million and one experiences that set me free, I don’t know. Call me a cosmic accident.

But the fact remains, I tripped over a form of logic, described briefly in Boolean algebra, that puts order to ALL the jumbled up strings of random motions that we have been memorizing and calling the martial arts for a zillion years.

Now, if I could, in one word, or simple sentence, describe matrixing, I would, but you wouldn’t understand it.

Here is that sentence:

For something to be true the opposite must also be true.

Doesn’t make much sense, does it?

But it will if you do a few hundred hours of logical work in the martial arts.

Mind you, you could do a few thousand hours of work, a few million hours of work, and get nowhere. You would merely be trying to make sense of the insensible, the stored up memories in your mind.

You see, without the logic, without matrixing…the mindless mass of memorized circuits that are the martial arts just won’t make sense.

And, without the martial arts, with only the logic, you are left with:

For something to be true the opposite must also be true.

A simple phrase that means everything, and nothing, and is sort of like a zen koan, and doesn’t describe any sort of logic you have ever experienced.

So, it is impossible for me to give you an example, your jumbled up memory of a mind just won’t accept it. You will translate it into gibberish.

And, here is a cruel trick, when somebody gets close to understanding they say, ‘Oh, we’ve got that in our system.’

Simply, they have latched on to some simple point, and they do have it in their system, but their mind has slid right off of Matrixing the way teflon slides off bacon and eggs.

So you are caught. You are trapped in your own hard work, trying desperately to justify it, and refusing any example of real logic I could give you.

And your only real solution is to dig into the martial arts, and dig into matrixing that you might hope to understand the martial arts.

And, nobody really understands the martial arts.

True. Sad, but true.

They think they do, and they explain the martial arts by saying something like, ‘a punch is just a punch,’ or, ‘a kick is just a kick.’ Or some other pithy saying after a few decades in the martial arts.

Nope.

That’s just more teflon sliding off the pan.

The real martial arts are a thought.

Not meat, not mind circuits, not even freedom.

They are a simple thought.

And the only way you will ever understand the thought that is the martial arts is through matrixing. I say this because the martial arts have never been understood in the history of mankind. Ever. Not on any planet, not on any plane of existence.

If they had been understood they would have, like one of those circuits, disappeared, and we would have a civilization without war and disease and the general corruption of mankind.

Martial Arts Meditation Done the Right Way!

Martial Arts Meditation and how to Make It Work!

There is a secret to Martial Arts Meditation, and this secret should be understood before one attempts ANY kind of meditation.

First, meditation, Martial Arts or otherwise, is very poorly defined. Ask any number of priests, buddhists, taoists, or any other religious person about meditation, and you will receive a variety of quite different answers. These answers may differ greatly and lead one in a variety of odd directions

martial arts meditation
Listen…

This writer’s introduction to meditation, for instance, was that if a person could focus his attention on one object for three minutes he could conquer the universe.

Try it. Light a candle or place an object on a shelf, or just have an image in your mind, and look at it and think only of it for three minutes. Hold that focus and do not allow any distraction; think only of that object. It is interesting.

One can achieve more focus in their awareness, and this can help you in life, but doesn’t it seem like there should be more instruction?

What should one focus on?

How does one object relate to all the universe?

Are there tricks to help one focus awareness?

Is this really meditation? Or just a mental trick?

One just feels that there is a truth to be understood here, but there is not enough data to make that truth obvious, even with three minutes, or three months, or three years, or three lifetimes!

So the secret of martial arts meditation is to listen.

Sit and listen to what is happening in the world around you.

Mind you, this is martial arts meditation because in the martial arts one analyzes the force and flow of objects in the universe, and in this simple listening exercise one is listening to the force and flow of objects in the universe.

The one thing that may happen is that you will find yourself focusing on, becoming aware of, tension around the eye area. This is likely because the eyes are the predominate tool of perception, and you are not using them. They are antsy and want to be used. So you have to force them to relax, tell them to relax, and focus on listening.

Do this simple martial arts meditation for three minutes; just listen, without interruption or distraction; when you can do this without break you will find yourself quite enlightened, and quite ready for the next step of meditation.

Do you know the 24 Neutronic Principles? That would give you 24 meditations after you have learned to listen.

Church of Martial Arts Is About to Open!

Monkeyland is Almost Here!

The physical reality of Monkeyland is happening. Over the next ten days we are making the move to 120 acres in Nipomo, California.

I have included a couple of overheads here, for your pleasure.

The first is a close up of the property. A trailer, a cabin, an open faced, tin garage, a few cargo containers. The perfect canvas for a dream, eh?

monkeyland martial arts

This second shot is higher up, shows the lack of neighbors. The squiggley line at bottom right is highway 166.

birdseye2

Not bad, eh? We’re off grid, have plenty of soil for planting, plenty of raw materials, and lots of space for working out. Heck, I’ll probably spend a few weeks just picking out places to work out and assessing whether they are good sites for permanent work out structures.

And, did I mention the garden for Tai Chi and pa kua and that sort of thing?

Wel, I will. Give me time.

Or, better yet, come up and find out how you can help create this. I’ll open the doors officially for visitors probably within the month.

Make sure you check out ‘The 24 Neutronic Principles.’ it is a hard core look at the concepts underlying everything, not just in the martial arts, but life! Now, off with you. It’s time for your workout!

Good morning and a great work out!
Or good evening and a great work out,
or…get the idea?
Anytime is time for a great work out!

I’m back in town,
working like crazy to get caught up,
and my apologies for any late orders,
missed emails,
or whatever.

I should have everything done by Monday,
including sending a couple of courses I ran out of
during my trip across America.

Let me know if I didn’t answer an email,
or anything else.

Now,
word has it that Monkeyland may be as little as a month away.
Zowie!
What a long journey,
but it is going to be well worth it.

I know that others have constructed temples
for the martial arts in America,
but I really think this is going to be a first.

I am working on putting all arts on checklist format.
Will make it easier to study,
and easier to teach.

I am thinking of how to construct the area
so that it is not just a couple of houses and a dojo,
but a terraced and organized Garden of Eden for the martial arts.

And,
did you know that there are actually seven arts that I have put together?
This makes for seven chunks of knowledge,
or seven steps to complete martial mastery,
in the most fanatical sense of the word!

So instead of working through belts,
although that will occur,
and must occur for people who don’t want religion in their martial arts,
there will be an alternative route.

For instance,
a fellow who is a postulant,
is a fellow who is seeking (admission to a religious order)
So a postulant would follow a specific checklist,
which might include the first four courses on Monster,
and certain works from churchofmartialarts.com,
for instance ‘prologue,’ and so on.

And I would put together some sort of package to save money,
and a forum where people can actually discuss what is going on.

I have had a lot of requests for a forum,
and I think I see how I could structure it
so people could trade knowledge and wins,
ask questions and such,
and yet stick to specific courses.

First level might be postulant,
second level might be novitiate (novice)
and there would be a separate forum for each level.

Mind you,
I am just thinking my way through this,
outlining a structure,
and things may change drastically
before we come up with something that works.

And,
I say we.
Us.
I thank every one of you that has offered ideas,
sent me heads up on links and courses and whatevers.

You see,
monkeyland isn’t me.
It’s martial arts.

So how much time do I have left to teach?
And that question leads us to one fact,
can I – we – establish a structure,
physical and spiritual,
that will last past our mortal flesh?

That is the real question here.

Let me share a little something with you about this.

I have had lots of opportunities.
People have offered me this and that
over the course of the years.

One fellow offered to make me a Hollywood producer.
And he was one,
and could do it.
But I said no to him,
and to all other opportunities
and for one reason.

They had to be martial arts compatible.
If the opportunity wasn’t about martial arts,
I wasn’t interested.

And,
over the years I have also had a lot of people
try to button me down.
‘Get rich, Al!’
Or,
‘Here’s a job that…’
‘We could make so much money…’
And,
of course,
there is the fact that I kept the price of courses down,
instead of going internet crazy,
and gouging people.

Why?

Because in the back of my mind is the question…
‘will people remember what I did in a thousand years?’

Even if they don’t know my name…
‘will the effects of what I have done be influencing the world in a thousand years?’

Not because I am glory hungry,
I don’t care if people know who I am,
I’m actually sort of a recluse.
I hide in corners at get togethers,
and don’t even like to go to parties.

No,
I just want to do something that is big and good and will have lasting effect for thousands of years.

What is the purpose of my life?

Do you understand?

It’s not to get rich,
or to be famous.
Heck,
I could have done that!

But can I actually contribute something of worth
that will help my fellow man,
raise his awareness,
make the world a better place.

Shaolin does that.

I want to do that.

And in America there is a relatively blank canvas to do that.

What an opportunity!

And,
that being my personal motivation,
now you may understand that it is not about me.
It is about the people who help.
It is about people coming together
to overcome a rancid and unforgiving world.

While everybody waves a flag and goes to war,
we nibble at the edges of the heart…and go to peace.

It’s about you.

What do you want?

Do you want to be part of something big?
That will change the world?
Will make the martial arts a force for peace…instead of corruption and tournaments and making money and dominating people and beating people up and…

Do you get the idea?

Well,
forgive me.
I rant.
But it’s a good thing.
So cross your fingers,
that everything goes through as planned,
no burps or farts,
but an actual place to come and study the purest martial arts in the universe,
a martial arts that doesn’t just make the most honorable and glorious fighters in the universe,
but raises people from monkey to human being to…an Awareness of who they are,
what they are about,
and gives them a chance to really do something this lifetime.
And all through martial arts.

Oinkey ka doinkey…
got to go,
you guys and gals have a most glorious day
and wonderful workout!
And I’ll talk to you later…

Al

BTW
Here’s the first book
that will probably be offered
on the first checklist…

Prologue

If you can’t afford a package,
or even a course,
then at least get this one
and be ahead of the curve.

Want to be a Kung Fu Student at the Shaolin Temple?

It always amuses me when I find out what people think kung fu at the shaolin temple, or any temple, was like.

walking the circle image
Walking the Circle has Subtle Applications!

Usually these thoughts come from fellows who find their way into my martial arts school. They grill me mercilessly, then, no matter what I have told them, they tell me that they want to go to a temple and sit at the feet of the masters. They want to swing swords with the monks and experience all the bizarre training routines that will enable them to beat up elephants and dragons, and pound their fists into unbreakable lumps of death.

Now, the truth of the shaolin temple is this: it had to support itself. That means the monks had to feed themselves, and this means every day.

Yes, they did martial arts, but, only after a day in the fields, or after building and repairing the walls and roofs, and even after sweeping up the leaves.

And, yes, the martial arts they did study after that were absolutely incredible…wing chun, preying mantis, hung gar, and so on.

But they worked before they did the martial arts.

Now, do you think the fellow who comes into my school, who usually  isn’t working and who didn’t get through school, is going to have the stick-to-ivity, the necessary amount of muscles and concentration, to make it through the daily work at the Shaolin temple?

Is he going to be able to fix picks and shovels that broke? Repair the brickwork of crumbling walls? Get up on that roof and stop the rain from pouring in?

Is he going to be able to saunter twelve miles to the local village to sell vegetables from the temple gardens, and walk back, and then feel like doing a three hour workout in the martial arts?

And, is he going to be able to pick up a sword and fight bandits successfully?

Is he going to have the ability to help sick people from the neighboring village?

Is he going to be able to listen to long (boring?) lectures about religion?

Is he going to be educated enough to study the sacred scrolls, and maybe copy them for future monks?

I hope you see what I am getting at here. The real kung fu of the Shaolin Temple was more than just a good work out, it was a commitment of soul that most people would be in awe of…if they could even understand it.

Blog

What is Wrong?

Not a one of us hasn’t asked that question…what is wrong with me?

Heck, it is an interesting question because, let’s face it, we are the most interesting thing in this universe. We’re more interesting than rocks or cars or how to make yellow pudding.

whats wrong with life

But the real point here is that at some point we question ourselves, ask whats wrong with me, and wonder why life is all fouled up.

Maybe the parents are rotten, maybe the kids show no respect, maybe the boss is ragging…maybe the durned politicians are acting up and raising taxes. There really is no end to the problems that this life can bring.

So what’s wrong with you? Actually, the only thing wrong with you is you don’t know where you are, what you are supposed to do, or even who you are.

I mean, don’t let me be gentle or anything, but we gots some problems!

Now, the solution is find out where you are, who you are, and make up your mind what you want to do. And, funny, thing, these things are easily resolved.

The short answer: you are awareness. You are in the universe. You are supposed to find something to do and do it.

Longer answer.

You are awareness. This can be ascertained by doing something as simple as assuming a yoga posture and sitting in it, and letting your imagination drift. Heck. You are awareness. And, truth, you could figure this out with a loaf of bread, a jug of wine, and somebody you like.

Where you are is a universe. This universe is a bunch of space defined by objects that collide with you.

You can survive or not depending upon your ability to calculate the flow of objects (their direction and speed) and their probability of colliding with you.

Interestingly, this last formula: analyze and handle force and direction, is at the heart of the martial arts. In fact, the martial arts are the ONLY discipline on earth which results in enlightenment of the practitioner. Interestingly, not many people, even martial arts students, realize this. They think they are fighting. A few get the bolt out of the blue, but most just become calm and confident.
But isn’t calm and confident the result of knowing how to handle the force and flow of objects in this universe? Isn’t that enlightenment? Or at least the obvious result of enlightenment, whether one realizes they are enlightened or not?

So you are you, Aware. And you are in a universe that, if you study the martial arts, becomes easy to handle.

Guaranteed, once you have some martial arts under your belt, life works better. You get better jobs, you are less prone to get sick, your children aren’t so disrespectful, even plain, old people on the street treat you like you are something special.

Of course, I don’t expect you to believe me. I am not even trying to push martial arts on you. what I really want you to do is consider the logic of this article, and then think about whether you would like your life to work.

If you want your life to work, if you want to find out what you are supposed to do, then check out some of the neutronics on this site, see if the logic holds true, then consider taking up a discipline, or at least finding out what is behind the discipline (Neutronics).

Have a great day, and I hope you never have to ask yourself that question again…What is Wrong With Me?

Why Yoga Works, Tai Chi Chuan, And Your Left, Big Toe

Yoga and Tai Chi Chuan!

Have you ever considered how and why Yoga works? It’s a good question, and one which I have never seen answers for. In fact, some youngster puts the question to some oriental sage fellow, and I see a lot of circumventing and philosophizing…and no real answer.

yoga plank
In answer to this question, I was trying to make yoga work the other day, and I was listening to some gal on a Yoga CD and trying to put it all together with what I knew from the martial arts, and the gal on the CD suddenly said something that made me blink. With a satisfied smile she said, ‘It took me three years to get this posture.’ I sat back, put the CD on hold, and thought about what she had said.

It took her three years of work and discipline to make her body work. She was proud, which is probably the sinful version of satisfied. And I don’t think she was really doing Yoga.

She was being a contortionist. She wasn’t talking about becoming aware as a spiritual being, but rather being ‘over satisfied’ about being able to do weird things with her body. What she was saying had to do with holding her body in a yoga asana, and nothing to do with the spiritual side of the subject.

One of the martial arts exercises I do is to practice my Tai Chi Chuan in a dark room with no lights and my eyes closed. I do this because I started with Karate, which means ’empty hands,’ and I realized you couldn’t have empty hands without an empty mind. I am merely trying to reduce extra and distractive sensations, and develop awareness having to do with the sole and concentrated practice of the tai chi chuan form.

To utilize this in Yoga, close your eyes and be aware of your left, big toe. You must be aware of your right, big toe without the use of perceptions. You must become aware, as opposed to being aware with body perception devices (eyes, taste, touch, and so on).

If you can hold the body still, negate sensation, and just become aware, then you are on the path of real yoga. If you can see the different between being aware through body perception devices (nose, eyes, etcetera), and just being aware, then you are on the path of real yoga. If you can become aware of yourself as a spiritual being, and not as a body, then you are doing true Yoga.

You don’t have to contort your body through painful postures. You need merely put your body in a position…doesn’t even have to be an official yoga asana…and stop looking through your senses, and let awareness grow. The difference between perception and awareness, this is the why yoga works, why Tai Chi Chuan is what it is, and even your left, big toe.

Introducing Church of Martial Arts

Martial Arts and religion, sort of an oxymoron, eh?

I mean, what do you do, kill ’em and then convert ’em? That’s sort of backwards.

That said, only a fool would argue with the spiritual benefits of the martial arts. Heck, there is a long history of spirituality in the martial arts. Every martial art sems to be influenced by Christianity or Taoism or Buddhism, or whatever.

The problem, of course, is that the martial arts are leeching on to what has been created, and not being established for what they are: a might fine method for discovering the truth of a man’s soul. This is somewhat true even for such things as the Shaolin Temple, or the Mountain monasteries of China.

So this site is about a religion that is martial arts based. It is not trying to align the martial arts with other practices.

This actually covers a lot of ground.

At heart is the fact that man is Awareness.

If you examine the universe it is nothing but objects flying around and colliding with each other. So, objects in space. And what isa man? He is an object floating around and having collisions…seeming at whim.

But, then what is Awareness?

You can measure the universe, but you cannot measure Awareness. It is a classic case of abstract v the concrete. Thus, Awareness, being the only ‘thing’ not actually ‘of’ this universe, it becomes the sole goal of our efforts.

Can you become more Aware? Anybody who has partaken of the Martial Arts disciplines knows that you can.

Can you become Aware of that which is All Aware? Anybody who has an ounce of faith in their soul would agree wholeheartedly. And those who don’t agree need merely delve into a true martial art to find the answer.

So, we seek. And a new door is opened. A new method, which takes into account all other methods, and which resolves classic questions, and which has a certain footpath, complete with certain sign posts.

Do your martial arts as prescribed. Matrix them to make them faster, and so to get where you are going faster. Study Neutronics to increase your natural, spiritual abilities, and to fully exploit your own personal power.

Find the truth of yourself.

Indeed, your body is a temple, and your form is a prayer. Move the temple enough, pray enough, and your answers will be manifest.

It is a simple enough procedure, takes only heart and soul, conviction and belief. Anybody can do it. If they are a fanatic, a zealot, a person who is used to getting things done.

Welcome.
